CLISTs, REXX EXECs, general automation, menus, and GUI's hide many things from 
existing operators, regardless of platform.

Most no longer know the basic command structure.
I figure you might as well pander because nobody knows how to do it anymore.
How many operators know more than to reply to a prompt that starts everything 
on a specific system image (or don't even have to do that).
Just specify a loadparm -- which again can be controlled automatically.

I had to IPL and start everything manually a couple of years ago to debug a 
virtual storage problem.
At a large Canadian Bank, there were no operators who knew what to do, and only 
two of us techies that knew anything.

Go ahead and do it. You are not going it improve/degrade the current skill set.
Nobody can do it, any more.
