[<CLC>] I have seen both sides of this and, on average, I would call it a draw. I have seen very disciplined *IX and PC operations and unbelievably sloppy mainframe operations. And of course, I have seen the opposite too. It just has nothing much to do with "mainframer=wise" or "pfcsk=dumb". It has a lot more to do with corporate policies and training and whether or not the IT staff actually follows the rules. Human nature in other words.
