At the risk of missing the obvious, why aren't IBM, CA, BMC, et al, having
the same concerns?  Copyrights are copyrights.

That what I have done. I have improved the code (you well come to give it a
second try)  and now I am thinking about the next step (do I need to protect
the code as it is done in open system platform?).
