I learned something new today. Because I dislike AMRF so much, I haven't had it on for any systems I managed in 25 years. I never realized the SR panel in SDSF showed anything but outstanding WTORs. Another reason to keep AMRF inactive. :-) Mark -- Mark Zelden - Zelden Consulting Services - z/OS, OS/390 and MVS mailto:[email protected] Mark's MVS Utilities: http://www.mzelden.com/mvsutil.html Systems Programming expert at http://expertanswercenter.techtarget.com/ ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [email protected] with the message: INFO IBM-MAIN
Many moons ago, I had AMRF active on a system I inherited. One day the operator does a D R,L. WTO buffer shortage, followed by an IPL. Since that day, I always use AMRF(N), and D R,R, never D R,L, just in case the devil AMRF became activated. I've never run across a good reason to use AMRF.
