I guess that makes me a lurker, but Im legit, my husband is Bob Richards.
He has been posting on here for years. I was on the list years ago, but
recently
rejoined after hearing Rick Fochtman died...He was a friend of ours :0(

I love computers, I try and follow my husbands technical stuff :0)

ibm-main mailing list is gatewayed to usenet ... outgoing only
... doesn't accept in-coming ... so any posting originating from usenet
don't show up on the mailing list. ibm-main usenet is, in turn gatewayed
to google groups ... i.e.
https://groups.google.com/forum/?fromgroups#!forum/bit.listserv.ibm-main

they are lurkers in the sense that they read ... but don't post ...
note that ibm-main mailing list subscribers that never post ... may also
be referred to as lurkers.

I have newsgroup client that I enjoy much more than any email client ..
so I'm subscribed to ibm-main mailing list (allowing me to post) ... but
have settings to not send me any email ... since I prefer to read on
usenet.
