This is not really for a single individual, I think it is the way the list should be managed, and the list moderator should know htat alkl of us (or the vast majority) stand behind his decisions of how and when to implement the penalties, and it's sometimes very difficult to implement, though easy to visualize. I think warnings are appropriate, but after X number of them, where X is somewhere under 5, it should be that they are automatically rendered so that they can view the list, but not make comments or open posts.
I think that sounds pretty fair, but it's just me. I'm probably not as forgiving as most people when it comes to breaking rules.
