The guy that started Jolly Green in Canada sold the company to a guy that 
supports QWS3270Secure, QFTP, etc.  The only problem I had, and it wasn't 
because of the actual product, was when W10 came out and it took him about 30 
minutes to send me a new object.  

Ran it around the block, and that was my 1 and only maintenance issue

Same here.  Instead of escrow or source code supplied to an end user, I think 
it would be far better for folks to consider someone else to take over should a 
product be left behind (for whatever reason).  For example, the code could be 
given or sold to Rocket/Dino/Serena/etc. and hopefully get some long-term 
support.
