A light belated came on in my poor excuse for a mind. We have a "disaster
recover" volume which we restore first at D.R. That volume contains all our
restore JCL & data sets. So I just created an HFS (not zFS) filesystem on
that volume. I used HFS because it is not VSAM and so is easier to
recatalog on the floor system. When we get to Sungard, I'll just mount it
somewhere in the existing UNIX filesystem (maybe somewhere in /var or even
make a directory in /tmp & mount it there).
