Ah, there are indeed still a few unfixed problems, so just to reiterate,
the branch is *not* yet complete. :-) There is at least one other problem
that I know of: fixing some of the prototypes for functions with no
arguments to have a "void" argument instead will change ABI ("Fix gcc
strict-prototypes warnings"), so some of those changes will need to be
reverted.
Note that the required gnome-common m4 files will be included in the
tarball (inside aclocal.m4) if the "Use compiler warnings from
gnome-common" commit is applied, so this should be the same as the current
situation (only those building from a fresh clone need gnome-common
installed).
Thanks for pointing out the @see_also errors, I had not got to those yet!
