New issue 1659 by [email protected]: ibus-ui-gtk3 should show local modes of active engines as GNOME does
http://code.google.com/p/ibus/issues/detail?id=1659

GNOME's keyboard indicator now shows local modes of each engine, but, for other DEs, ibus-ui-gtk3 shows only the icon of an active engine. Users thereby cannot understand the current mode of the engine at a glance. It is really annoying to type a key in order to see the current mode.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
OS (Linux distributions, UNIX or ...): openSUSE 12.3
IBus version: 1.5.4 + preload engines & libgnomekbd patch
