I had the same issue with the rail mounted blocks for the jib sheets. The never seemed to swivel or tilt properly to provide a fair lead from jib to winch. Years ago I replaced them with the traditional jib fairlead slide blocks that are held erect by springs at the base. They work perfectly and I have never looked back.
