Susan, MY riding sucks and I admit it. I even think that means I need to
work on my seat all the more because I learned to ride as an adult, and I'm
not a gifted or talented rider. Part of what I do to improve my seat is to
ride without stirrups from time to time. The lucky ones that learned to
ride as kids, or who have natural Velcro-butts can get away with worse
riding style than I can. I'm not so lucky, so I have to work harder - for
myself and for the benefit of my horses.
