That reminds me, we don't have many trees in the desert, but there is an area
next to an old wash we ride thru that I call the Raven's nest, but the raven's
abandonded it years ago. I was riding with my friend and her green horse and
we were standing under the tree for shade, and I just got done telling her the
nest had been abandonded by the raven's years ago, when a red tailed hawk
exploded out of the nest! Our horses were too scared to run, they just got
shorter by a foot or more! I guess I won't assume the nests are abandonded
anymore. I saw cute litte beady eyes in the nest, too! I usually call these
terradactyls!
