I actually have no idea what you are doing there. 
"$ac_configure_extra_args --no-create --no-recursion" is not mentioned 
anywhere in the documentation and when you use it then "make all" fails 
because "Makefile" will not be created!

After "make install-config" as shown in the documentation there is a 
file named "idoutils.cfg-sample" located in .../etc/modules containing 
the module definition. You just have to rename it to "idoutils.cfg" so 
it is included during the verification process.
