I reran the make install-idoutils command. The idoutils.cfg-sample file was then present in the appropriate directory. Once it was renamed, I ran the verification command syntax, and everything appeared nominal. I have restarted the application, and I am now seeing data. Thanks again for the help. -----Original Message----- From: Wolfgang [mailto:w...@gmx.net] Sent: Monday, May 28, 2012 7:53 AM To: icinga-users@lists.sourceforge.net Subject: Re: [icinga-users] no data present with icinga-web interface Am 28.05.2012 13:04, schrieb Kaplan, Andrew H.: > The operating system is the CentOS 6.2 64-bit distribution. > > ________________________________________ > From: Wolfgang [w...@gmx.net] > Sent: Monday, May 28, 2012 6:52 AM > To: icinga-users@lists.sourceforge.net > Subject: Re: [icinga-users] no data present with icinga-web interface > > Am 28.05.2012 12:44, schrieb Kaplan, Andrew H.: >>> After "make install-config" as shown in the documentation there is a >>> file named "idoutils.cfg-sample" located in .../etc/modules containing >>> the module definition. All ido*cfg-sample files are copied at the same time and I wouldn't know why only idoutils.cfg-sample should be omitted. Change to the source tree (where you entered "./configure ...") and execute "make install-idoutils". Verify that idoutils.cfg-sample is in /usr/local/icinga/etc/modules, rename it to idoutils.cfg and verify your configuration. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Live Security Virtual Conference Exclusive live event will cover all the ways today's security and threat landscape has changed and how IT managers can respond.
