My suggestion:
Unlike the situation a year ago, now we have a non-profit (Hamakor), which
can issue receipts.
If the non-profit is now approved for income tax deductions, then it may
be a good idea to ask the non-profit to run a small fund raising drive,
looking for, say, 9 donors (I am the 10th) for the money to buy the hard
disks.
