All that I wanted to say has lrdy been said ;) bt stl I go ahead.
Linux is less user friendly?
Tell me how long u took to get a hang of Windows - I know nobody remembers
it, but then handling the mouse id very difficult, for someone who hasn't
used computers. So we dont see the time we took to "learn" Windows, part of
it goes in getting up to the mark with the peripheral, and by thn u r gd
enuf, and of course Windows cant offer u anymore ;)
Now lets cm to Linux. U have to unlearn Windows (Refresh above is a good
example)
I know ppl who configure emacs to have Ctrl+z as undo, while it has a more
intuitive Ctrl+u (for undo). Dat is the level from which u have to unlearn,
no longer are even thinking intuitively, so obviously smtng which u cant
learn fast enuf becomes tough and less user friendly, (Human ego i heard
someone say?)
Y do u want ppl not to charge for the service? This is one thing every
Windows user asks - Y do sm "sell" Linux, if u claim it is free. Dats been
well answered above.

Other usual cribs:
Net dependent/Lack of software: dat's because, every one uses Windows, Once
ppl start using Linux (say debian, or anything) u can pick up the DVD (dat
hs windows s/w are used nw) - and guess what u dont even need to buy a
magazine, or a pirated copy.
Too many distors: dats the "free" in GPL. Obviously u wont have as many Mac
OS Xs and Windows'. Pick any up any Linux, u can put in ur own desktop and
all Linuses then feel the same, even across versions - can u get that in
Windows, of course not u hv to take wtevr crap/great thing Gates decides u
need to have.

So dude do ur research well.

If u r a Linux user and believe that viruses can affetct Linux as easily as
they affect Windows, then well.............. nothing. Either u dont know the
way Linux works or u dont know hw viruses work, or both (I mean just the
basics, I am no guru either, bt I know sufficient to realize that in Linux,
its very very tough due to permissions.)
