AS this statement is coming from a earlier and knowledgable windows
user(seems so to me),i dont ACCEPT it....
give a child a "windows vista" and a "ubuntu(say gnome env.)" and
tell me...if he can use windows more easily....
nothing is easier than synaptic in ubuntu(or well that mint thing in
linux mint....)
nor is it more beautiful than compiz-fusion

plus the stability of linux is a well established fact.....not related

LET me tell you something,,,,i read somewhere that someone could write
on windows driven os's drive by using a linux platform over a network.

I STRONGLY DISAGREE..........
i dont like linux for cheapness......i like it for it is open source
and would be using ubuntu even if it costs more than that my ram
hungry "VISTA"...
the only properiatiory things i like are a couple of games and few
drivers for my system(moving to open source on these also....)
