I started with Slackware, but with the number of machines I mantain I
need a package management system. In the future I will likely be
maintaining Linux on the Desktop which would be totally impossible the
'Slackware way'.
I'm not totally a fan of RedHat,but have used them so far for that
comfort-feeling customers have about a brand they recognize. I plan to
switch to Storm Linux in the future (Based on Debian which I prefer, and
is put together in Canada rather than the USSA so it can include all the
Crypto software right on the install CD).

This is something to think about - those root'ing for/with Slackware are
not likely the best people to try to get new users on-board ;-)
