my dear indra,
please do not go into orbit; you know we'd miss you so...
maybe i didn't express myself clearly. i am myself a great pico user, am
flirting with emacs/xemacs and trying to learn vi out of respect for the
pioneers of unix programming. but i said WORD PROCESSOR, not TEXT EDITOR.
the sort of thing you'd use for writing a book. while you certainly could
use emacs to write a novel, it would be like using a chair to hammer a nail
into the wall. it wasn't meant for this sort of thing at all. what i was
looking for is something like wordstar for (excuse me for using this
three-letter word) dos.
you savvy?
