All this means it will help a lot if we fork ilug-cal into a advanced and a newbie list. Members of the former must necessarily be part of at least one OSS development project... and must form local groups for at least one OSS development project. In the newbie list we can allow dumb questions but not stupid ones. Typically newbies do not like meets. So meets for them can be successful at sometimes only. There are other ilugs (Kharagpur IIT, etc) too ... who can be milked for our advanced program. To start with we must make summaries of various possible projects of varied intensity. A.
