Victor try to understand the sentiments of a fellow ilugc member. He is no ordinary tamil ilguc member posting in tamil in ilugc. He is the author of fsf manual in tamil and is a big contributor of tamil to FOSS in a big away. May be srinivasan t (our ilugc cordinator) or raman or others can comment on his achivements. So it is ok to have a few mails in tamil come by without the necessity to tag it as tamil or translating in tamil. If you dont speak tamil kindly ignore these mails. If there are high enough mails in tamil then we will have a separate mailing list for tamil. Till then i ask all people to bear with it. See although i am a tamil by birth. i dont know how to read or write in tamil. i have tried to learn from online and also from my mother and relatives. but not found much success. Till now i can read with some diffculty. So what i am trying to say is i am as much troubled as other north indian or non-tamil speakers in the list. So i repeat , let the tamil flow in this list , once we find that there are more than four mail in tamil on almost daily basis then we will ask Dr. Sriram or Barathi or whoever maintains this list for a separate tamil mailing list. Till then i ask them to ignore. with regards, Ashwin K. PS: I ask not to continue debating on this . lets stop here. _______________________________________________ ILUGC Mailing List: http://www.ae.iitm.ac.in/mailman/listinfo/ilugc
