yes it is true that it is not necessary to install linux in their machines.but they must be given complimentary copies to install.linux is not so easily available in many localities.i had to enquire almost a 4 to 5 dozen people for linux but many of the softwareengineeres/professionals donot have it.i'm just a student of 10+2.i've got linux cd's from e-bay.ithink its better if we start distributing linux cd's first among i-lug later to our friends and we can spread it.i think it would be a better way.
