Dear Beverly et al: I am most grateful for the tips I have received regarding image processing software. I already have Photoshop LE & Graphic Converter so should be able to deal with the images when the time comes. Up to now, I have avoided involving myself w/ a switch to OS X because I dont have the time to learn all the ins and outs of this demanding-sounding system. I never liked it when I had to spend $ on tutorials to learn how my Performa 6200 CD worked, but in the end, it was rewarding. So far I enjoy how trouble-free OS 9.1 is & mostly intend to continue onward with it. I am a visual artist & appreciate the intuitive & user-friendly qualities of macs....
