I am in the midst of selling my very first iMac - the same Bondi Blue
Rev B. I have been procrastinating on doing this for ages now. It sits
beside me on the floor and I just hate to sell it but I need the money
and I have only used it a couple of times since February when I bought
this new Indigo 500 mhz iMac.

In reference to the subject at hand, I was told recently that my new
iMac was far below industry standards. However, it is the perfect
machine for me. I bought it because I *wanted* to run OS X and I also
wanted to be able to burn back up CD's and have a bigger hard drive. It
made more sense to buy a new mac instead of upgrading the Rev B.

The great thing about Macs is that you really don't have to upgrade
anything unless you want to. I know of many people who are just fine
with their Rev B's or older Macs and have no intentions or desire to
change.

I am not sure who started this thread...I just wanted to say that I am
quite happily upgrading as I feel I want to and not because Apple is
"dragging" me into the future or forcing me to upgrade.

Amber
