Richard, these *are* the text email days. Letters. Words. Sentences. Text. Not graphics. Not sounds. Not .exe files and viruses. Just letters and numbers and spaces and punctuation. You may live in a different world than the rest of us, but the only universally useful form of email is plain text email. Anything else will break on some mail clients. Posters do *not* generally include everything in their replies. Really. Most of them quote reasonably, a few too much, a few too little. But mostly people on these lists get it right. The other benefit of bottom posting is that I can reply to your email 2-3 days later, it can be one of dozens of postings with the exact same subject, but you can know exactly what I'm replying to without having to scroll down past the new content. There are a million reasons for replying after quoting and only a few for not doing so. Laziness is one.
