Have you ever tried to wade through a digest composed of six messages that are mostly quoted and requoted and quoted again material? Do you realize that in some parts of the world, people have limited mailbox size and even pay for Internet access by the time they are connected or the bandwidth they use? Do you understand that your message ends up on hundreds of hard drives around the world, and not all of them have huge hard drives? It's simple consideration of others that leads us to ask that you only quote the portions of the original email you're actually responding to. Don't be so lazy as to be rude.
