I get Vendor: HL-DT-ST, Revision:2.13, and Product ID:RW/DVD GCC-4120B.

And according to

 � Compatible SCSI/ATAPI/USB/FireWire/i.LINK CD-R/RW, DVD-R/RW/+RW
drives, including all internal Apple CD-RW drives, CD-RW/DVD-ROM combo
drives, and SuperDrives

The complete device compatibility list contains "HLDS GCC-4120B (Apple
version)"

So yeah, you're OK.
