You're not being "frugal," you're being conscientious. The environmental impact of the millions of CD-Rs that are being thrown away every day is just now starting to be felt, and it's hard to imagine a more eco-unfriendly item than a CD-R. Plastic and aluminum -- now THERE'S a combo that will still be readable when archeologists dig it up 500 years from now! Everyone should be making backups on CD-RWs or other "reusable" media (such as tapes) if at all possible. It's better for your privacy, and it's MUCH better for the earth. A CD-RW can take the place of up to *500* CD-Rs!! _Chas_ Come to ... The CHASbah! http://thechasbah.blogspot.com **Go see BOWLING FOR COLUMBINE.
