Hi Gerry, Macers:
Yeah, when I was checking out the eMac's Combo Drive on Dantz's site
I ran across info that the "Sony Spressa CRX100E/X" wasn't compatible
with "Retrospect Express" under OS X because the drive wasn't
supported by the OS. 8( I won't be going to OS X on this iMac because
of the cost of upgrading the OS as well as necessary apps. When I go
to OS X it'll be on a new Mac.
I keep telling my wife that people that have an interested in
computers are either crazy, have too much time, have too much money
or all three. What other explanation can there be for why we put up
with this kind of nonsense over and over.
You've only had it 2 months. 8( Well at least you didn't pay $317.99
for it like I did in August '99.
