We had a Apple product rep out to our last Mac user group meeting.
I asked about the hardware requirements of Panther...
(We have a 450 B&W G3, 500 Mhz G3 DV SE iMac, 6500/400 G3 PowerPC, and Daystar Genesis 800 Mhz G4.)
The Apple product rep suggested that a one gigahertz G4 would be entry-level for Panther. It probably won't run gracefully on anything we have.
