The flowchart ended with "replace logic board". And yes, everything else appears to work fine.

My information comes from Art Hendrickson at Smalldog (a LEM sponsor, I believe) who says "Unfortunately, the 233MHZ machine and the 266MHz machine have different power supply/analog board set ups.", and "I am afraid that they are just too different. Power consumption specifications and the like had been updated between the first and second generation iMacs." This was in response to my inquiry into purchasing a 266MHz board they have available.
