No, actually, I don't. I'm just of the opinion that it SHOULD have everything to do with justice. If it doesn't, it has no binding effect ethically, and offers no reason to adhere to its guidelines other than fear. The problem with fear is it's an emotion, and emotions don't last. But I digress, this was all covered in the Repulic and then some. A name is something treads into intangible grounds, and while a business should have the right to stand out in the yellow pages, or elsewhere, but I don't think this case treads on the beatles "turf." It's pretty clear on all of the computers ive owned- the ones that are Apple say "Apple Computer Inc." and while the first name may be the same as "Apple Corps ltd.," the names are clearly different. As far as music goes, Apple is only retailling music, not moving in on the recording industry. They are not making music, they're only selling it AFTER paying royalties to the recording companies that the music comes from. Besides, if we're concerned about precedence, then why was "Apple Corps ltd" not all over "Apple Computer Inc" when they included CD audio capabilities with their OS, or when they broadcast a Metallica concert via the web a few years ago, etc etc?
