Greetings, Simple user issue. In Ichat, can I set up for more than one user? If so, how? I have just really started using the IM thing and I am tired of using my daughters handle!
Short answer: not yet. Panther (sort of) fixes this.
In Jaguar, you can set up different users (logins) and each user of course has their "own" iChat so the identities stay separate. But logging in and out can be a pain.
In Panther, you have to do the same thing (different accounts for each user), but "fast user switching" makes it easy to change users. iChat as a program, however, still cannot recognise more than one user per login.
Alternative idea: one of you use a non-iChat AOL IM client (like AOLIM, Proteus, Fire, etc) and the other uses iChat.
