Panther installs<1> is anywhere from about 1GB to 3.3GB, depending on what you install.


The OS itself appears to be just about the same size as 10.2 (~1.2GB for OS X + BSD)

Of course, turning off all the languages, asian fonts, print drivers, (and don't Forget Internet Explorer at 25-30MB) is the key to getting down that low.

<1> I've seen a few, none are the Golden Master, these numbers may vary, but I seriously doubt by much. Also, I am going from memory here.
