Hola, is panhter design for G4's and G5's? and will it run better than Jag on the G3's???
It is designed for G4's and G5s, but it will rn on most G3's. However, one of it's coolest features (Expos�) requires Quartz Extreme.
i own a graphite 600mhz. 40Gb. 256Mb. OS10.2.8 imac, and wondering if is it worth the jump from jag. to panter,
Yes. Panther is a huge leap forward in functionality and power.
If you have a ATI Rage series graphic card though, I would consider upgrading to a Radeon 9000 or at least GeForce 4 Ti for the Quartz Extreme (Yes, Expos� is *that* cool).
when i was the happy owner of a 266mhz bondy blue imac 320mb. 9.1 and jumped to jaguar, it became slugish and very slow, this was the reason i changed the computer, this time i am very happy with mi sistem and would like to keepit, so what is the thing to do stay with 10.2 or recomend the transsition to 10.3???
10.3 overall feels faster than 10.2 for most things.
