Has anyone had any problems with internet explorer not working for no apparent reason. We have three users on our eMac and at first one user could not load it. it was start up and then quit unexpectedly. So I trashed the old copy and downloaded another onef or that desktop but could not get it working.
Now everyone's copy quits so I trashed the whole thing reinstalled for everyone and new copy still quit for noe reason. no other apps are quitting. everything else works fine.
Currently we are using icab and I use safari and opera, but my family misses the interface of internet explorer and want it back. By the way icab saved all their bookmarks and its quite zippy. I really like it.
Nothing I do works to get IE up and running. any suggestions.?
Try removing the IE preferences in your user folder
<Home>:Library:Preferences:Explorer
Where <Home> is your user folder.
Don't trash them, just move the folder to the desktop. Then re-install the application and try it. If that clears it up then try importing the bookmarks from your old preferences.
