Why is that?
Because the majority is always wrong?
1) They're significantly more expensive. Tell me the last time you were
able to buy a brand new Mac for $400.
Has she used a $400 PC? I haven't, but from what I've heard, they're not
the greatest. Probably a motherboard and processor that are a few years out
of date, tiny hard drive and RAM, Win XP Home Edition (What is that, the
"dumbed down" windows?), and a cheap 15" or 17" CRT - by the time you've put
a new hard drive in it, more RAM, XP Pro, (and add in the time you spent
doing it) you might as well have bought a $1000 PC. Or an $800 eMac.
