It will print. The problem is that the pictures are streaking so I need to run the printer utility to check for clogged nozzles, etc.
I see. Well, I'll tell you how to access it, and then I'll recommend that if the Epson Utilities don't work that you go to http://www.ink4art.com and look into their "Deadhead" cleaning cartridges. They have worked wonders for me.
The only problem is that the utilities button is grayed out and I am unable to run the necessary utilities to check / fix the functions of the printer.
You're going to kick yourself when I tell you the fix. Ready?
Highlight the printer by selecting it in the list of printers. Then the utilities function will "un-gray" and become available.
Since you've been able to print, can you access the functions I mentioned?
