I lost my original system CD for my iMac so a friend burned a copy of his for me, but it appears that he didn't ensure that the copy became bootable when he burned it.
No problem I thought, I'll just reburn it again and tick bootable.
However, when I tick "Bootable" using the Mac Volume format the CD still wasn't bootable, and after further investigation I realised that the tick in the box has disappeared if I go back into "Select".
How can I get this System 9.1 CD-ROM bootable, i.e. the copy...
