What are these? I've never heard of them.

Here's another one I've never heard of...?
VLC: free media player, plays a lot of Windows-oriented files (.wmv, .avi) that Quicktime can't play.
MLMac: program used to steal copyrighted material.
POPMonitor: tells you when new mail has arrive (Mail already does this, but if you're not using it ...)
I forgot to mention what's in my (main) Dock (I have four of them, handled by MultiDockX):
Position: Bottom
App side: Finder, Calculator, Fontbook, iCal, Sherlock, Sambucus (billing app), Toast, iTunes, iChat, Mail, Safari
Folder side: Internet (my main internet apps), Other Internet (things like blogging apps, MacDICT, etc), Applications, Graphic Tools, Audio Tools, Video Tools, OS 9, Writing, Utilities, Trash.
The other Docks are similar but shift the App side icons around depending on what I'm doing. For example, when I'm doing graphic design work, my Print dock has all my graphics apps on the App Side rather than all the stuff I won't use much when I'm designing. But as you can see from my Main Dock, I spend most of my time on the net so I need those apps front and center.
