Perhaps someone already mentioned this, but can't you boot off an install disk and then run the firmware upgrade? I seem to recall being able to boot off an OS 9 install disk. Am I just imagining that?

I can get it to boot from an OS9 CD perfectly but you need to boot from a hard drive to update the Firmware. It wont do it from a CD boot.
