Thats the problem. I cazn install OSX but you need os9 to do the firmware updates. You cannot do a firmware update from within OSX for some reason.
Oh yeah, sorry, that kinda rings a bell. So, it's install your original iMac OS to do the firmware update or else move the logicboard into another iMac to get it updated.
