People in the Mac market either want it *noooowwww* or they will buy just after a new model is launched. They'll find a way either way, as you said.
I really don't think that potential category 4: People PO'd at the delay who decide to buy a Dell out of spite -- amounts to much.
Nahhh, if you want a Mac you buy a Mac, if your unknowing or impatinet enough that you buy a generic Winderz box instead then you get what you deserve ;)...
FWIW, I was just at tai chi camp for a short week and met several other campers who've just switched to PowerBooks and one of them was able to entertain everyone with photos from a past group trip, projecting them onto a flatscreen from his 15" PB. One guy saw my Mac cap and came up to say that after years of working (for his work) on Windows machines he'd just left that world and switched to a Mac PB and is extremely happy. He's thinking of going to MacWorld in Boston. I will send him info on how to sign onto this list.
