On the one hand, an iBook is more affordable. At the same time, it's
obvious that the Powerbook has the advantage <from what I can tell> of
expandability, more power, etc. The problem comes in dollars. What's
the best investment for finite dollars??

Since it's not heavily used for travel, will the iBook be enough??

A 1GHz G4 iBook? Yeah, I think it'll do ... :)
