Along the thread, I have a question that is boggling my brain. Currently have, as a travel <infrequent, but happens> companion, one of the original clamshell iBooks. Yes, it's reached and then some it's capability and capacity load. My predicament comes in trying to decide what to replace it WITH!

On the one hand, an iBook is more affordable. At the same time, it's obvious that the Powerbook has the advantage <from what I can tell> of expandability, more power, etc. The problem comes in dollars. What's the best investment for finite dollars??

Since it's not heavily used for travel, will the iBook be enough?? Otherwise, hubby uses it as mostly an email machine here at home, while I have fun with the G5 I splurged on in February.

Thoughts, anyone??
