There are 2 variants of P/A/V board used in the 350 MHz iMac, one without a switch that only works with LG CRT's, the other with a switch, suiting both CRT's that Apple has used. Obviously the switched board can be used on either, but not the other. The CRT types and type of P/A/V boards used will effect the ability of swapping between iMacs. Yes, you can separate the video board and swap it between boards, I've done it. Swapping boards around and getting results depends upon precisely what is wrong with each P/A/V board. By no video do you mean no raster? If you have no screen image and you turn up the flyback screen control, do you see a raster? Do you have an EHT probe? How did you diagnose the flyback failure, with a flyback tester, inductance meter or capacitor meter or DVM from the EHT cap to common? You could have faults on the main board part of both P/A/V boards, so swapping may not achieve anything. The only way to be sure is is to have a known good P/A/V board to swap around. If you do any successful swap involving the video board part, don't forget you will most likely have to adjust the screen white balance via the usb adjust utility, and add a link to the video board first.
