By ATX conversion, do you mean hang a PSU outside to power the iMac? This
won't supply the high voltage rails for the iMac's monitor. If you intend to
just power the logic board, then the 350 MHz iMac doesn't have an external
video socket to power a separate monitor as the the 400 MHz model onwards
do.
