I had to unstuff Outlook and start using it as it does more than trusty Eudora. Yikes! When I try to send, I get a dialog box that says: "A message in your Outbox could not be sent. The server did not recognize the recipients...Mail error. Unknown address. Error: 5550. I'm sure I'm overlooking something stupid, so if anyone out there can help Stupid, thanks.
What this USUALLY means is that the email address you're sending to is malformed. I see this a lot -- people writing "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" when they mean "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" and so on. The most common one I see is "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" There is no "earthlink.com." It's earthlink.net.
In short, double-check that the email address you are sending to is correct. Many people rely on their address books to "fill out" the address properly, and that can be the source of the problem.
