Wonder why I didn't get it with my PowerBook then?
Appleworks is seen as "consumer" software and thus comes included only on "consumer" machines (the eMac, the iMac and the iBook). Powerbooks and towers are seen as "Pro" hardware and pros tend to use high-end stuff, so Apple doesn't include "consumer" software with them.
